Biography Summary

Joel Garris, MD, FACR is a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist and a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. He practiced for 20 years  in West Los Angeles and Culver City as a partner in the Western Radiologic Medical Group.  Dr. Garris is now a partner in Lambert Radiology Medical Group and now practices exclusively at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier California.

Dr. Garris's interests and expertise are in the areas of Interventional Radiology; Pain management with spinal injections; Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty for painful spinal compression fractures; Uterine artery embolization for fibroids and Varicocele embolization

He has had extensive experience in development of outpatient radiology centers and joint ventures with physicians and hospitals. He served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at UCLA for 6 years and is on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Radiological Society.
